Mission - Reaching Out

The task of every church is to tell people the good news about Jesus Christ.  It's what the Bible calls 'Mission', whether that mission takes place in a nightclub or with our neighbours; the jungles of the Amazon or the humdrum of the workplace.

CPC has a number of departments and teams that seek to bring the hope of the gospel into lives both here and abroad, through words of hope and works of compassion.

We also seek to provide support for those making a difference across the world.  Through this website, we offer training and pastoral help for pastors and teachers, as well as study resources for small groups.  There are many who we may never meet face to face, but who we honour God and covet your prayers for.  You will find links to some of those ministries here.

In this part of the website, you will find:

• ROC:  ROC is the community action and support wing of CPC.  It is currently involved in both support and activities for the community.
• Ravens:  Providing food hampers for those in need of basic supplies, or anyone in need of a blessing!
• Rainbow:  An outreach that provides practical support to people facing unexpected financial / material problems.
• Carmel Ministries:  Our partners in the gospel in India.  With over 50 churches, an orphanage, schools and a Bible College.
• Seaman's Outreach:  Working full time with seafarers from all over the world who come to Tilbury and the berths all along the river Thames. 
• Short Term Missions:  With both Carmel Ministries in India and Overland Missions worldwide, our short term mission opportunities provide something for everyone.
• Movie Ministry:  An outreach into the world of the movies.  By film buffs - for film buffs...
